Adhiparasakthi College Of Engineering was established in the year 2001 with the blessings of the Founder President His Holiness Arulthiru Bangaru Adigalar in order to meet the growing demands for engineers in the modern industries. The institution is governed by Thirumathi V. Lakshmi Bangaru Adigalar, Vice President of the ACMEC Trust. The institution is one of the prestigious educational institutions functioning under the Adhiparasakthi Charitable, Medical Educational and Cultural Trust.The institution is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and the All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to Anna University Chennai.

The college campus is spread over a wide area accommodation spacious buildings to house workshops, laboratories, computer centre, hostels and other infrastructural facilities. The college has sound infrastructure on par with any of the leading technical institutions. A team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty guides the students in the pursuit of technological excellence and perfection.
The college was started with three undergraduates courses in the year 2001 followed by Electrical and Electronics Engineering course in the year 2004. Postgraduate programmes, viz, Master of Business Administration were started in the year 2006 & Mechnical Engineering Course started in the year 2011. Civil Engineering course started in the year 2012. Two postgraduates programmes M.E. in Applied Electronics and M.E. in VLSI Design started in the year 2013.
